My love for the gemstone Aventurine!

The metaphysical, mystical and healing properties of this wonderful stone!

Out of all the crystals and gemstones, Aventurine is without a doubt my favourite and I u...se it in many of my jewellery designs.

 

There are many different meanings and uses for this beautiful natural green gemstone; it immediately helps me feel grounded and appreciative of our beautiful earth. Here are a few of the reasons why I use it:

Alignment: I’m working with the law of attraction to create the life I want. Getting into alignment can be tricky if our belief system is not in alignment with what we desire. So I use Aventurine as a tool for this. In order to step into the future we are creating and have this unfold, we have to feel like it has already happened, that we are confident it will happen, we vision our future and apply the correct positive feelings and faith to this. Meditation and visualisations are also fantastic tools for this, along with doing what makes you happy, what makes you feel good. Raising our vibrations brings the things we desire. There is a saying ‘you have to make yourself feel so good, that good things can come to you’. Next time you are feeling positive, energised and happy – try thinking of something you would like to happen in the future, notice how the belief that you can do it, or have it, seems so much more likely. That feeling is part of alignment.

Aventurine is known as ‘The Stone of Opportunity’ said to bring good luck, success and prosperity to the wearer, wearing this gemstone for me, is a reminder to look for these opportunities and listen to myself, asking ‘does this feel right, should I go for it?’ It also releases our creativity.

 Finally, Aventurine activates and heals the heart chakra, dissolving negative emotions and thoughts, releasing us from the past and allowing us to move into the future, I use for New Beginnings.
There are many other uses for Aventurine, for different parts of the body and healing illnesses but I just wanted to write a piece explaining why I am compelled to use it when creating jewellery. Mainly for alignment but also opportunity, success and healing/new beginnings or the future we want.

There are a few pieces in my little shop here but I hope to create many, many more in future, there are so many designs stored only in my head at the moment!
