The metaphysical, mystical and healing properties of this wonderful stone!

Out of all the crystals and gemstones, Aventurine is without a doubt my favourite and I u...se it in many of my jewellery designs.

There are many different meanings and uses for this beautiful natural green gemstone; it immediately helps me feel grounded and appreciative of our beautiful earth. Here are a few of the reasons why I use it:

Alignment: I’m working with the law of attraction to create the life I want. Getting into alignment can be tricky if our belief system is not in alignment with what we desire. So I use Aventurine as a tool for this. In order to step into the future we are creating and have this unfold, we have to feel like it has already happened, that we are confident it will happen, we vision our future and apply the correct positive feelings and faith to this. Meditation and visualisations are also fantastic tools for this, along with doing what makes you happy, what makes you feel good. Raising our vibrations brings the things we desire. There is a saying ‘you have to make yourself feel so good, that good things can come to you’. Next time you are feeling positive, energised and happy – try thinking of something you would like to happen in the future, notice how the belief that you can do it, or have it, seems so much more likely. That feeling is part of alignment.

Aventurine is known as ‘The Stone of Opportunity’ said to bring good luck, success and prosperity to the wearer, wearing this gemstone for me, is a reminder to look for these opportunities and listen to myself, asking ‘does this feel right, should I go for it?’ It also releases our creativity.

 Finally, Aventurine activates and heals the heart chakra, dissolving negative emotions and thoughts, releasing us from the past and allowing us to move into the future, I use for New Beginnings.

 There are many other uses for Aventurine, for different parts of the body and healing illnesses but I just wanted to write a piece explaining why I am compelled to use it when creating jewellery. Mainly for alignment but also opportunity, success and healing/new beginnings or the future we want.

There are a few pieces in my little shop here but I hope to create many, many more in future, there are so many designs stored only in my head at the moment!

I suspect one reason Unakite seems so powerful RIGHT NOW is because we are all learning to live/observe/plan/feel from our hearts (instead of from our minds), since being heart-based is the new reality. Unakite, being of the pink/green colour spectrum, is particularly well-suited to support of the heart chakra -- green being the heart chakra colour and pink being the colour of universal love, which we will be using more and more as our vibrational energetic levels rise.

It means so much! Everything! I have tried to condense it here....

This bracelet is made with beautiful, genuine iridescent Opals ~ White Opal is known as 'The Goddess Stone'. It is a powerful stone which magnifies the energies and vibrations of the wearer and thus intensifies the intentions - this makes an opal a wonderful manifestation stone. Greek Mythology - Olympians - Gods and Goddesses

I love to learn new things, and although I have a little knowledge of Greek Mythology and the Gods & Goddesses - I would like to brush up on my knowledge and hopefully create a 'Goddesses' jewellery range :-)

So first up is Zeus...

Zeus was the king of the gods. He could control the weather. The ancient Greek poet, Hesiod, called him the 'cloud-gatherer' and the 'thunderer'. His most powerful weapon was the thunderbolt. The ancient Greeks believed that when lightning struck earth, it was a sign of Zeus being present.

Zeus was also concerned with hospitality. If you treated a gue

st or stranger badly you could outrage Zeus.

Zeus was the god of the sky and ruler of the Olympian gods. Zeus overthrew his Father Cronus. He then drew lots with his brothers Poseidon and Hades. Zeus won the draw and became the supreme ruler of the gods. He is lord of the sky, the rain god. His weapon is a thunderbolt which he hurls at those who displease him. He is married to Hera but, is famous for his many affairs. He is also known to punish those that lie or break oaths. He was the rain god, and the cloud gatherer, who wielded the terrible thunderbolt. His breastplate was the aegis, his bird the eagle, his tree the oak. He is represented as the god of justice and mercy, the protector of the weak, and the punisher of the wicked.

Love Beyond The Moon is my Etsy Shop where I design and customize 'Intentions' spiritual, inspiring and empowering jewellery using beautiful gemstones from our earth. This is me, teaching my little girl how to hug trees in our local park :-)
